Leslie Tar is a physician but he functions as an Elder Law attorney while operating on behalf of the legal corporation, Leslie Tar, Esq, LLC. He received his law degree at the University of Pittsburgh. The University of Pittsburgh School of Law (sometimes referred to as Pitt Law) was founded in 1895. Dr. Tar received his master's of law degree (also know as an LLM) in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. The law school was founded in 1919 as part of the Springfield Division of Northeastern University and incorporated as part of Western New England University in 1951. Elder law attorney, Leslie Tar, also holds and LLM in Health Law from Loyola University School of Law, Chicago.
Dr. Tar was born in Budapest, Hungary and he lived the earlier part of his life in New York City, a son of an fauvist artist, Laszlo Tar, whose works at displayed on various pages on this website as well as on www.tarart.com. Dr. Tar's daily practice consists of assimilation of medicine with elder law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, designed to meet the needs of his patients and clients. He practices probate law, wills and trusts, and Health Law throughout Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and Charlotte, Lee, and Sarasota counties.
